This month I was tasked with using the extra large 8″ and 10″ foam balls. At first I tried my hand at creating a disco ball, but when that totally failed, I stumbled upon one of my favorite crafts to date! So win! I’m not sure if I have told you all about how much I love large scale decorations? If I could have my way, I would totally scoop up all those large store display decorations that go up every season (you know, those hanging things at Target over the holiday section or when you enter the store?) and hang them from my living room ceiling (I have a two story living room, so I think they would look really cool). But since I haven’t reached that level of crazy (yet), I figured the next best thing would be to create my own over sized decorations.

Now I am sure you can find ornaments in the store that are this size (or at least come close), but they are usually in traditional colors and you all know I like a little of the non traditional. These DIY large ornaments can be made in any color you want, so I of course went with shades of pink and blue!

• 3″ PVC end caps or Starbucks Iced Vanilla Latte Caps
• 20 gauge brass jewelry wire
• Drill and drill bit
• Flora Craft® Foam Glue
