Turning a balloon into a bunny isn’t really all that new, but when they are made with giant 3′ balloos, well, they just seem more magical! A few sheets of cardstock, low temp glue gun, and some 5″ balloons transformed these large balloons into giant easter bunny balloons. It’s crazy how one addition made the Easter party setup I had so much better! If you are hosting an Easter get together for your kids, brunch for family, or even an Easter egg hunt for your neighbors, these balloons are the perfect easy addition.
Materials for Giant Easter Bunny Balloons:
–Large 36″ white balloons (I find mine online on Amazon or at Bargain Balloons)
–White and colored card stock (one 12″ square sheet of each per bunny)
–Scissors
–Low temp glue gun
–5″ pink balloon (1 per bunny)
Begin by cutting out the bunny ears and inner ears from the white card stock and colored card stock, respectively. Then use the glue gun to attach the colored card stock to the white card stock. Fold the bottom of the white card stock over about 1″.
Next, blow up the balloons and tie. Use the low temp glue gun to glue the ears onto the balloon (it’s best to glue these on either side of the balloon knot so that you can hang the balloon from this knot). Next, glue the inflated pink balloons to the front of the white balloon for the nose.
Depending on the size of the ears that you cut, you may need to add a brace piece behind the ears to keep them upright. To do this, simply cut a 6″ by 1″ strip of card stock and glue it to the back of the ears and then at an angle onto the balloon to form a triangluar brace.
Once you glue is cooled, your balloons are ready to hang about as Easter decorations. Aren’t they just too adorable?! Now what are you waiting for? Go hippity hop to your craft room and make your own giant Easter bunny balloons!

Oh Kara, you have the most fun and exciting mind! I never really did much for Easter, but I’ve been bookmarking my favourite blog posts that people have been posting (so, basically all of yours are included!) and I’m SO going to throw myself an adorably decorated Easter party next year 🙊🙈

While browsing, I did find this article and my granddaughter saw these cute bunny balloons. She wants me to stay on the page so she can stare at them one by one. And she even told me, “Hey Granny, I want these on my birthday, please?” So, I just said yes baby, how could I say no to this little cute girl?
