This post, Slow Mornings – My 2019 Goal is sponored by OXO. Thank you for supporting the brands that keep the craftiness coming!
With the new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on things that went well the year before. It’s also good to think about things that need to be adjusted and changed for the year to come. 2018 saw a lot of work and hustle. However, there wasn’t that much downtime for me to reflect and just be slow and intentional. So this year I am planning on bringing this intention into my morning routine with what I am calling, slow mornings. What is a slow morning you ask? Well, it is essentially time for me to sit and brew a cup of coffee with my new OXO Pour Over Coffee Maker with Water Tank and enjoy it slowly. This will be the perfect time to just sit and reflect. During these slow mornings, I can prioritize what I want to accomplish for the day and where I want to spend my energy. Because 2018 was definitely a year of near burnout on the energy front.
How OXO Helps my Slow Mornings
Not only am I planning to set aside time to enjoy these slow mornings, but the OXO Pour Over Coffee Maker with Water Tank gives me a few extra minutes of me time too. It quickly and easily brews a single cup of coffee in about a minute. Even better, it has almost no clean up. While I love a good cup of coffee, I am a one cup a day gal. I have never used an actual traditional electric coffee maker because it makes too much coffee for me. That is why I love this small single serve pour over coffee maker by OXO.
Just add your coffee grounds to the liner and add the water tank on top. Add hot water, and once the water is drained, the coffee is ready! So simple and so quick. Now I can enjoy my hot cup of barista level coffee in minutes. This gives me more time to sit and be quiet and slow before I jump into work.
I’d love to hear what your goals are for 2019. Are you looking to slow down too? Or make more time for you? Tell me your intentions in the comments! I’d love to get some more ideas on how to make 2019 the best year yet.
