This morning Madeline got to open her 7th day advent box. Today’s advent activity was making and decorating Christmas tree waffles. 

Luckily my waffle maker is a circle shape, because when you break the waffle into 4 pieces, you get the perfect triangle shape for a Christmas tree. You can just use food coloring to dye the batter, or if you want to make your waffle a bit healthier, use some raw spinach juice in place of the milk or water for a natural green color! Then drizzle the waffle with honey, add your sprinkles, a few banana “presents”, and a bacon stump and you are good to go!
