I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend and were able to use some of my ideas from last week for food and fun. Today it is all about posting your kids art work somewhere other than the fridge.
My sister recently moved into a new house, and she has been decorating up a storm. While I can’t take credit for this cute idea, she did give me permission to post some photos and a how too for you.
To make this special little art hanger for Kingston’s room, she first took a piece of decorative wood and painted it red, then she used sticky scrapbook letters to spell out Kingston’s Art on the top and screwed in three metal binder clips on the bottom. She also added a decorative airplane to the top corner because he is really into airplanes right now. All that was left to do was mount it on the wall with a picture hanging kit, and now Kingston has a place to display his weekly art piece from his mothers day out program.
I am going to hopefully make one for Madeline soon, because it seems like she comes home with 2-3 art pieces every day she goes to her MDO program and our fridge is full.
