- Crepe paper folds
- Curling Ribbon
- 2″ honeycomb balls
- Wood Skewers
- Hot Glue
- Scissors
Begin by cutting your crepe paper fold into a 4″ by 8″ piece. Fold this piece in half and fringe cut the bottom (not the folded part), then hot glue onto your skewer.
Now you will tie the hanging loop of the honeycomb ball into a knot to make it a bit smaller, then glue it on the top of your skewer. Finally glue the curled ribbon on top of the stir stick.
I personally like to have the honeycomb ball loose and able to hang down the stir stick and move around, but you can also glue them directly to the stir stick for a more stationary look.
Mix up your colors as you like to create the best party stir sticks ever. I can’t wait to whip these out at my next get together! I bet little mini versions would look super cute on cupcakes or as a cake topper too! Just cut down the wood skewers a bit and give everything a party vibe.
