Style It – Peach, Yellow, and Copper Fall Shelves

filed under

Okay, I’ll admit it, my house is already decorated for fall. Even though it feels as hot as the surface of the sun outside, September puts me in fall mode. This year I wanted to do something a little different than the traditional for my fall decorations, but I wasn’t quite sure where to start. Then, after a little shopping, I stumbled upon a roll of wrapping paper at Home Goods and my fall color palate was set. The wrapping paper had shades of pale pink, peach, and brown and I loved the idea of incorporating these colors along with some yellow, copper, and orange to create the ultimate soft and delicate fall look.

I never would have thought to add peach to my fall color list, but I love the way it pairs with orange and copper. So fresh and different, yet still fallish.

Below you can see that wrapping paper that inspired this whole fall look. Of course I needed to incorporate it in some way, so I framed a few pieces and wrapped a few of my books with it too. This helped bring the whole look together.

Most of what I used for all my shelves is from Target, Home Goods, Joann Stores, Anthropologie, and Ross Dress for Less. I know, it seems like I do all my shopping at these same stores, but I love collecting pieces over time and they always seem to turn over products so frequently that you never know what new things you are going to find.

So, what do you think of the whole peach, copper, orange, and yellow fall color combo? Oh, and if you want to know the source of any specific items, just ask and I will be happy to tell you!
