Today, we’re talking goblets, and I don’t mean the giant, mead-holding, Renaissance Fair type. I’m talking mini, colorful, delicious dessert serving ones! I found a package of plain white goblets at the party store when sourcing a few items for a photo shoot, and fell in love with the shape, but the plain white just wasn’t doing it for me. I am a color lover through and through! Luckily a little bit of paint was all that was needed to transform the plain into the cute and colorful.
I never cease to be amazed at what a little paint can do! And how adorable are those matching spoons? Want to make your own for your next party or friendsgiving celebration? Then follow along below!
- Mini white plastic goblets (I found these at Party City)
- Spray paint in your choice of colors
- gold leaf pen
- Mini wooden spoons
- Painters tape
Begin by turning your goblets upside down on a piece of old cardboard and spray painting the exterior. Let dry then use the gold leaf pen to color just the top rim.
For the spoons, tape off the spoon leaving just the tip exposed and paint with either acrylic craft paint in matching colors or use the spray paint to paint the ends.
And that’s it! Now you have the cutest mini goblets to serve your ice cream or mousse desserts! Yay!

This is amazing! I wish I saw this before going to the dollar tree. I've got to find a way to make this!
