- Wood Veneer Adhesive Sheets (I used both birch and cherry)
- Colorful Cardstock
- 2″ Circle Punch
- String or Fishing Line
Begin by using the hole punch to cut out the wood veneer and cardstock. While I used the simple circle punch, you can really use any shaped punch you like.
Once your shapes are cut, peel off the backing from the wood veneer sheets and sandwich the fishing line between the wood veneer and a piece of colorful cardstock.
Repeat this process, alternating the colors and wood veneer pieces to give variation to the garland. Once your garland as reached the desired length, cut the fishing line and tie a loop at each end.
Then your garland is ready to hang on your mantel, loop around your tree, or even to decorate a doorway.
This colorful wood garland also goes mighty well with this color blocked wood Christmas card holder and these colorful birch wood candle holders. I have one more quick post for you tomorrow, and then I will be taking a little blog break to enjoy the holidays with my family. So see you tomorrow!
