I told you I would be bringing in a few more pom pom DIY’s, did I not? After a bit of brainstorming, I decided a pom pom clutch was in order. But not one of those that you see with a few pom poms hanging from it. Oh no. This is a full coverage pom pom clutch if you will. This baby is covered head to toe in colorful pom poms and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

This fluffy clutch is perfect for those winter nights out. It is just so fluffy! Best part (aside from the time it takes to make all those pom poms) this clutch is fairly easy to assemble. And you can even use an old clutch of yours as the base. Sweet!

The Supplies:

• Yarn in several colors (choose the colors you like best, anything from all hot pink poms, to a rainbow assortment will look perfect!)
• Mini pom pom maker
• Scissors
• Hot glue
• Old Zippered Clutch/wristlet/or crossbody bag

Begin by making tons of mini pom poms in a few small sizes. For reference, my clutch measured 5″ by10″ and I used 24 for each side plus 14 for around the sides. So a total of 62 pom poms. Yes, it is quite a lot, but these mini ones come together quick and its the perfect activity to do while binge watching your favorite show.

Once you have all your pom poms made, use your scissors to trim them up a bit so that you have nice round poms.

You will then use your hot glue gun to add a generous amount of glue to a small portion of the bag and start gluing on your pom poms.

Make sure you press those pom poms down well so that they get maximum glue exposure. Continue until both the front and back of your clutch is covered. Then use the remaining pom poms to cover the edges of the clutch. You will then have yourself a super fluffy statement clutch that will be bringing in the oohs and ahhs.

I mean who wouldn’t want to sport this gorgeousness around town?!
