With summer in full bloom, it’s the perfect time to throw a party! Luckily Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores have everything you need to decorate for your soiree. A little DIY and a few pieces from their new party collection are all you need to throw the perfect floral and succulent filled bridal shower. These ideas can also be easily adapted to any themed party!
I began my decorating by bringing in tons of flowers and greenery for this gorgeous garden bridal shower. I was inspired by the new Talking Tables Ice Cream collection available in store. The collection has everything from the Party Balloons to pastel colored fans to pretty plates and is the perfect party decor!
I started with the gold foil PARTY balloons (available in-store) and then added in the pastel paper pinwheels and a few DIY paper succulents. To top off the backdrop wall, I also added a few delicate butterflies.
After the backdrop wall was complete, it was time to move on to the buffet table. A cake decorated with faux flowers, a few vases filled with more flowers, and a few macaron party favors (the cute little cloche are available in-store) set the scene. Then I added in a few of the Talking Tables paper plates, a pitcher of fruity sangria, and of course pretty paper straws.
One fun DIY addition to the bridal shower were these customized tumblers. A little bit of gold vinyl and my Silhouette cutting machine and these special cups for the Mrs. and Bride’s babes were ready to go! These can also be customized to your party needs (like Mom to be, the Birthday girl, etc…)
Now that the buffet table was set, it was time to move on to the actual table. I used these cute floral plates found in store and these colorful doilies to create the perfect table runner. Then I layered in a few candles, and little plaster planters filled with succulents.
Last but not least, the bar cart. Because every party needs a bar cart even if it’s just used for cake, punch, or decoration! A little garland of honeycombs (also found in-store) and a vase of flowers was all it took to get the bar cart in the party spirit.
Now that you see how easy it is to decorate for a floral bridal shower (or any garden party for that matter), who’s ready to party?!
