Not only am I bringing pumpkin everything into my home right now, I have also been DIYing a few things into pumpkins. These colorful pumpkin decanters are so easy to make and are the perfect addition to a Fall or Halloween bar cart. Who wouldn’t want to mix their drink from these cuties?
These decanters can be made in a few sizes and can be customized to any pumpkin color you want.
Supplies:
- Libbey Single Serving Wine Carafe (this is the small size, but you can find a larger size here: Clear Carafe
)
- 3-Inch
and 2″ wood balls depending on the carafe size you get
- Acrylic craft paint
- Faux pumpkin stems (I pulled these off of a few faux pumpkins from the Target dollar spot)
- Drill
- Paint brush

Begin by painting your wood balls in shades of orange (or really any color you want!).
Once the paint is dry, drill a hole in the top of the balls using your drill with a 3/8″ bit.
Then simply press the stem into the ball and add to the top of your carafe.
The cute modern wood pumpkins then act as the lid for your decanters! You can fill the decanters with different liqueurs, flavored simple syrup, and fruit juice and then let your guests mix up their own concoction! And if you have better penmanship than me, you could also use a gold paint pen to add lettering on each pumpkin with the name of the liquor or beverage inside the decanter.
Couldn’t you just see a whole collection of these on top of a bar cart?! Now who’s ready to throw a party?!
