It is our family tradition to decorate gingerbread houses every year. I still have yet to try making my own gingerbread houses, but why would I when I have found the best gingerbread house decorating kits out there?! Bakery bling has so many good kits. Everything from Santa’s surf shack, or a Moose lodge, to a cozy cottage. Plus the kits come with everything you need to decorate to your heart’s content.

This year we went out of the normal and got the Santa’s surf shack kit. I had in my mind to do a palm beach inspired gingerbread house with pink cabana stripes, a life saver wreath, and cute colorful surfboards. I love that these house kits have more than just the standard icing and sprinkles ( which they do have too!), but they also have cute little sugar figurines and pieces to decorate your houses with.
