Who doesn’t love the retro charm of oversized colorful Christmas light bulbs? I took that inspiration and ran with it to create this disco Christmas light garland. Of course, you could also do a more classic red and green color pattern, but I stuck to my tried-and-true rainbow palette. This garland would also look adorable outside of your house so long as you’re not worried about rain or snow!

Check out the full DIY tutorial here. Let’s get to crafting this groovy Christmas garland!
Supplies:
Instructions:
Step 1: Remove the foam bulbs from the spray and sand off the glitter texture from the bulbs (leaving the gold glitter sections).
Step 2: Add on the peel-and-stick disco tiles to each light bulb.
Step 3: Apply the alcohol inks with a makeup sponge to each light bulb. Let dry for at least an hour.
Step 4: Using the baker’s twine and a large needle, string up the completed disco Christmas lights. You can stick the needle directly through the gold tops.
Step 5: Hang on your mantel or bookcase for a bright & sparkly centerpiece to your holiday decor!
