One thing is for certain, summer months mean that I am never without a tall glass of juice, lemonade, iced tea, or water by my side. But of course I want my drink to be pretty even if I am just drinking water, so I decided to upgrade a few basic acrylic tumblers I got at Target with a little vinyl in the shape of confetti! These confetti glasses are the epitome of summer vibes! And they are so easy to make too, just a few cuts with your vinyl cutter and you are ready to sip, sip, hooray in confetti style!

 

 

• Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutter
• Colorful outdoor permanent vinyl (I used Orcal 651)
• Acrylic Tumbler (these ones with the gold rim are from Spritz at Target)

Begin by cutting out your vinyl into several confetti shaped pieces. I used my Silhouette Cameo to draw simple shapes like circles, ovals, curls, triangles, and parallelograms and filled up the 12″ by 12″ sheet with them. Next I used the Cameo to cut out the shapes on different colored vinyl and removed the extra vinyl.

Once you have all your shapes, it is as easy as removing the shapes and adding them to your glasses like stickers. Only so much cuter! I concentrated the confetti on the bottom of the glass, but feel free to put it all the way up if you want.

Once all your confetti pieces are on, your glasses are ready to use. And because you are using outdoor vinyl, the glasses can easily be hand washed and re used all summer long!

 

Now that I have a set of confetti tumblers, I am ready to enjoy a large glass of pink lemonade. Cheers friends!
