With just a few more days until Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share a couple more fresh DIYs to get you in the lovey-dovey spirit. Sometimes the hardest part of crafting is sourcing your materials. But fear not: I have done the heavy lifting for you. You can find the heart-shaped balls in my shop. Just select your shape and color and add the quantity that you want. I used ten hearts in three different colors of red and pink for this project. Grab your hot glue gun, some floral wire, and some fishing wire, and you’re ready to get started!
Supplies:
- Heart-shaped ball-pit balls in shades of red and pink
- Hot glue gun
- Floral wire
- Fishing wire
- Long doll needle
- Pliers
Instructions:
Step 1: Pair up your heart-shaped balls by color, then poke a hole in the top of each one.
Step 2: Cut small sections of floral wire and hot glue each end into one of the hearts. You can even use pliers to bend the “stems” into cute little heart shapes!
Step 3: Thread some fishing wire onto the doll needle, then string together the heart-shaped balls by running the needle through the top of them.
Now it’s ready for hanging from your mantel!
