These DIY candle holders have everything – a whimsical shape, a happy color combo, and a healthy touch of sparkle. Find out how you can make your own peppermint candy candle holders below! If you like to work with clay, this’ll be a fun project. I used oven-bake clay to shape some candy-striped ribbon, then molded it into a bow shape and added a candle holder for taper candles.

Supplies:
- Oven-bake clay in white, pink, and red
- Clay tools
- Gold candle cups
- Iridescent glitter paint
- Paintbrush
Instructions:
Step 1: Start by rolling out a white piece of oven-bake clay into a rectangle the width of a ribbon. Then roll some skinny pieces of red and white clay to make your stripes. Space the stripes out the way you want them and roll them into the white piece.
Step 2: Begin to form the bow shape. Cut the two pieces of the bow, the top folded part and the bottom “wings.” Shape the pieces and press them together. You can also cut triangles into the bottom of the wings.
Step 3: Carefully press the candle cup into the center of the bow.
Step 4: Bake the bow according to product directions.
Step 5: Once your bow is dry, you can add the glitter paint.
Add your favorite taper candles, light them, and enjoy the cozy holiday vibes!
