Do you remember my confetti glasses from a few weeks ago? Well, I took the leftover the cut confetti vinyl and a few plastic bowls and created the cutest confetti party bowls for all your summer snacking! They are super easy to make and can easily be customized to your party colors. You can even add names to the bowls and use them as gift baskets or individual snack bowls for movie night. How fun is that?! All you need is some vinyl and a few of plastic serving bowls and you will be on your way to crafting a confetti party.
Supplies:
- Plastic Serving Bowls
- Assorted Adhesive Vinyl
- Vinyl Cutting Machine (optional but recommended)
Begin by cutting out your vinyl into several confetti shaped pieces. I used my Silhouette Cameo to draw simple shapes like circles, ovals, curls, triangles, and parallelograms and filled up the 12″ by 12″ sheet with them. Next I used the Cameo to cut out the shapes on different colored vinyl and removed the extra vinyl.
The next step is as easy as sticking the vinyl onto the bowls in either a fun pattern or randomly to create a more realistic confetti look.
I did both a patterned DIY confetti bowl and a random bowl and I can’t decided which one I like more!
Now that was simple wasn’t it? And this vinyl will stay on during use and hand washing, so these don’t have to be one use only. Now that you can seen how simple it is to decorate your own colorful DIY confetti patterned serving bowls, I fully expect to see all your fun and colorful patterns!
