For this colorful Halloween party, I decided to go with pinks, peaches, blues, and oranges and brought those colors in through the pumpkins, flowers, glasses, and plates. And how fun is that piece of DIY art?
To make one for your Halloween celebrations, just frame a piece of patterned paper (I found this one by Meri Meri at Paper Source). Then use this Silhouette cut file to cut out pink vinyl that says “Drink up Witches” and stick the vinyl to the glass part of the frame for a quick piece of art that matches your party decor.
For the pumpkins and flowers, I spray painted a few faux foam pumpkins with my chosen colors and then removed the stem and replaced it with faux flowers in various bright colors. Real mini pumpkins complete the look.
At the drink station I piled up a few pumpkins and a large vase of flowers and added in the DIY artwork, colorful drinking glasses (make them by spray painting the bottom half of plain glasses), and a few colorful drinks and snacks like these funfetti monster pretzels. To make your own, dip pretzels in melted white coating chocolate, sprinkle with sprinkles in your parties colors, and top with two edible candy eyes. So cute and perfect for Halloween!
On the table I used plastic gold flatware and sprinkle patterned paper plates that match the artwork (also from Meri Meri via Paper Source) and added a centerpiece of more pumpkins and flowers. Colorful, fun, and perfect for a playful Halloween party.
