I figured after two months of Halloween tutorials and sneak peeks into the decorations and games for my daughters Halloween origami birthday party, the least I could do is show you all the photos from the party itself. The party was a great success and I am sure that all the kids had a great time running around and playing on the playscape and trampoline and I am happy that the rain ended just in time for us to be able to utilize the backyard. Beware that the following post is extremely photo heavy, but I just needed to share all the yummy food that I ended up making for the party. Tomorrow I will share all the decorations!
Since our party was between lunch and dinner, I just went with fruit and veggie trays, Halloween antipasto skewers, chips salsa, guacamole, and black bean dip with piped sour cream web, Spinach artichoke dip with crackers, and pita chips and hummus. I also made some of those mummy hot dogs using can croissant dough but hadn’t made them yet when I took these pics.
In addition to the savory snacks, I made lots of fun desserts. Some of these included caramel apple flavored dipped pretzel rods with candy eyes, gunny vampire teeth, skeleton gingerbread men, decorated sugar cookies, pumpkin, chocolate, and red velvet cupcakes, red velvet bone cookies, chocolate mummy cookies, caramel apples, Halloween chex mix, and Halloween marshmallows.
That covers the food from the party. As I said quite a few photos and tons of options for the guests. Check back tomorrow for all the decor and party game photos!
