I love the way these colors work together to bring about a light and airy Christmas feel, but are definitely not traditional Christmas (I saved that for my living room!). Pink, red, mint, turquoise, and gold are my go to 2015 Christmas colors. I even have decorated my Christmas cookies with the same colors!
Lets delve into the shelves for a closer look shall we?
First up the left side where I have shelves filled with small faux Christmas trees in white with marbled salt dough ornaments, several decorative boxes from Home Goods and Target, as well as jars of ornaments, and a DIY snow globe.
Now onto the middle section.
Here we have my ugly old TV… just kidding. But seriously that thing just doesn’t belong, but is oh so functional here. I have another box from Home goods, a few signs from last years Target dollar bin, a few bottle brush trees, family photos from Christmases past, and another snow globe I made.
Lastly, the right side with my hot pink tree, wrapping paper covered books, bottle brush trees galore, my ornament orb, a jar full of Christmas crackers (the British ones, not actual food) in the prettiest print that I picked up at Home Goods, and a few more family photos.
That wraps up the in depth look at my built-in shelves all decked out for Christmas. What do you all think of the color scheme? Isn’t it just the prettiest?!
