First up is my inspiration wall which was updated with a few new pieces and rearranged a bit. I added two of the pieces of art I got from Minted as will as a clip board of pretty little phrases that I picked up a TJ Maxx.
One of the major changes in my room was that I moved my sewing table in front of the window instead of floating it in the center of the room. To quote Step Brothers, “there is so much more room for activities!”. That and now that my table is in front of the window, I can look outside when I sew and the lighting is great for taking blog photos. So hopefully you will see some better photography in the future!
I also added a rug from my guest room to give the space a little warmth and transform it from a production space to one that I would gladly spend all my time in!
On this wall I now have another piece of Minted art as well as a few pretties, some in progress sample laptop bags, and my ironing board which is a must when sewing for a living. The section of the built-ins shown house most of my craft supplies.
I have mason jars for little bits like pom-poms, pipe cleaners,
glitter, sharpies, paint pens, etc… and larger boxes for other craft
items divided up by holiday or theme. Also on my shelves are spray paint
bottles, acrylic craft paint bottles, a cup for paint brushes, and a
container for all my different types of glue.
The rest of my built-in shelves hold Kailo Chic product, fabric, my computer and pin board, and my heat press. No really prettiness here, but it is organized (except for the fabric!), and I know where everything is. Which is awesome!
Although it may seem a bit full of stuff, I swear I need it all! No pretty styled shelves in here, just pure craft supply heaven! So what do you think of the changes? I am hoping it will help me be even more creative this year so that I can share super awesome new designs and DIY’s with you! That sounds good doesn’t it?!

Love this room and was just wondering what the blue paint colour is called. Thanks Sarah. 😀

It was a custom mix that I had color matched to a piece of elastic that I just loved the color of. But I would say that it is fairly close to Cockatoo by The Pantone paint for Lowes. With maybe just a bit more blue. Sorry I can't give you an exact color!
