Anyway back to those sprinkles, oh and cupcake papers. A girl can never have too many cupcake papers apparently. My sprinkle collection was quite a mess in my kitchen cabinet. Some were in jars that were only have full and some where in zip top bags. I needed something to corral all my sprinkles and make it easy for me to actually use them! My solution? Jewelry bead containers. They work perfectly to sort all the little bits while still allowing me to see everything I have. See what I mean?
I purchased two different kinds of bead organizers. The small trays with little screw top vials and the tower ones. I think I like the tower ones the best because I can collect the sprinkles into themes and just pull out the Valentine’s Day tower or the colored sugars tower or the rainbow tower when I need.
so I had to use 3-4 of them just to hold one regular jar of sprinkles.
But they are still useful. Especially when you have a lot of half used jars.
Now for the before and after of my cabinet that is dedicated to sprinkles and cupcake wrappers.
Much better right?! I still need to go pick up a few more storage containers because I underestimated my collection, but it is on the right track. And for the cupcake wrappers I used large wide mouthed mason jars from the craft store for the large wrappers and small mason jars for the mini wrappers. I can see them all and easily access the ones that I want. The mason jars also help them keep their shape so I don’t end up with smashed and wrinkled wrappers.
And to end it on a fun note, here are a few shots of my different sprinkles all sorted out. Man I love sprinkles!
