The great thing about these ring dishes is their simplicity. And just look how cute the little pom-poms look surrounding the dish! Follow along below for the full tutorial.
- White shallow dishes (I purchased these from World Market for $1.49 each but Target has similar ones here.)
- Pom-pom trim
- Hot Glue
Yep. That is all it takes to make these beauties! I used both small and large pom-pom trim for my jewelry dishes, but I am especially fond of the small pom-poms. For the small pom-poms, hot glue the trim around the outside edge of the dish making sure that the small pom-poms line up with the edge of the dish.
For the large pom-pom trim, I glued the trim to the inside edge of the dish and then used a gold paint pen to color in the white edge that showed through.
Aren’t these fun? Have I got you hooked on pom-poms yet? I sure hope so because I have another craft coming your way later this week involving pom-poms of another sort! So stay tuned….
P.S. Thanks to Sugar and Cloth for the awesome brushstroke art work I used as the background for these images!
