Isn’t the mint and navy combo just perfect? I love that this bag will work perfectly for the summer, but because of the navy and tan will also transition well into fall and winter.
In other news, I have been having a ton of fun styling mini parties just because. And when I say mini, I just mean just a table top filled with party goodies. I really love styling and taking pretty pictures, and this is a way that I can do both without spending a ton on a fake party. But, if you are ever in need of a full blown party, just let a girl know. I didn’t volunteer to decorate and plan all my high school dances for nothing. Decorating for parties is my happy place. Well, that, and Target, and Home Goods, and pretty much anything to do with interior design. But I digress. Here are a few of my recent just because styled shoots.
When I saw these party supplies at Target a few weeks ago, I was so happy! They are the perfect colors. Mint, Coral, Hot Pink, Turquoise, and lavender are just perfect together and those gold accents? Swoon.
You can get the entire line for your next party here.
Next I have my Black, White, and Hot Pink party that I styled using the new line of paper plates designed by Design Love Fest for Cheeky. I absolutely love the splatter paint plates and the light pinks, grays, and blacks of this collection. I decided to style it as a candy party complete with macarons, pink heart marshmallows, pink chocolate chip ice cream, and of course Lindt Chocolate. Oh, and I also had to add my gold flatware in there, because I am pretty sure no party is complete without a hint of gold. At least that’s my motto!
In other non-business news, the family and I headed down to South Congress earlier this week for some much needed fun, family time. After dinner we took a walk down the busy street and checked out the new South Congress Hotel. So much design inspiration!!! I couldn’t keep myself from clicking away with my phone. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the hotel. Maybe one day my hubby and I will actually be able to spend a night or two there for a mini staycation. How fun would that be?
That pool!!! I am so ready for summer vacation and swimming and road trips.
Last but not least, this past week I signed on to be a part of the Make It Fun blogger team for this next year which means that I will be bringing you fun foam craft ideas every month. First up is a gorgeous summer wreath! I also just go word that I will be working with Silhouette for monthly sponsored posts using their amazing vinyl cutting and stamp making machines. So stay tuned for some major awesomeness!
Hope you all have a great weekend, and I will see you back here next week! -Kara
