The Supplies:
- 2″ Marble hexagon tile
- Acrylic craft paint in your choice of colors plus copper (I used 5 different colors plus copper)
- Small paint brushes
- Hot glue or industrial strength adhesive
- 3/4″ Copper end caps
- Colorful taper candles
Begin by painting the edges of your marble tiles.
Once all your tiles are painted and have dried use a dab of hot glue (or industrial strength adhesive) to adhere the tiles together to form a tall hexagon tower. When your candle holders are as tall as you like, glue the copper end cap on the top marble tile piece and you’re done!
Either drip a few bits of hot wax into the copper to set the candle in place or use a piece of clay inside the end cap to keep the candles in place.
I am really loving the copper, peach, navy, and green apple colors for fall. And of course everything is better with a pop of hot pink! All in all the candle holders are pretty simple to make and considering you can make 4-5 of them for under $10, they are super affordable as well. So tell me, what colors are you drawn to for fall?
