This year I challenged myself to design some wrapping paper that I could sell on Spoonflower. Well, time got the better of me and I only ended up getting one design finalized, but it turned out so cute! So today I am sharing 3 gift wrapping pairings (including my desing) plus a few DIY gift toppers for the ultimate holiday gift wrapping guide.
First up what I call the, “It’s gonna be a PINK Christmas”
Wrapping paper:
Multi Colored Dots | Bottle Brush Trees | Blush and Gold Box | Pink Glitter
Black Dotted Snowflake
(This is the one I designed! You can buy rolls of it on Spoonflower, or I hear there might be a free printable of it going out in the newsletter today! So sign up quickly if you haven’t already!)
Gift Toppers:
Honeycomb Balls | Wooden Snowflake Christmas Ornaments | Pink Bottle Brush Tree
Next up is the “Don’t be a Prick, give me my gift!” collection. This grouping contains the super fun cacti gift toppers made from hot glue! You can find the tutorial for these below.
Wrapping Paper:
Gift Toppers:
DIY Yarn Pom Poms | White Pom Pom Trim (from Joann Stores) | DIY Cacti
For the DIY cacti, use a hot glue gun to draw cactus shapes on pieces of parchment paper. Let the glue cool and then use acrylic craft paint to paint the glue. After you have painted the glue, remove it from the parchment and place on a clean piece of parchment to let the paint dry. Once dry, string with ribbon and tie on your gift or glue it directly to the package itself.
Last up is the “All that glitters is green and gold” collection.
Wrapping Paper:
Gift Toppers:
DIY mini gold paper fan | Faux Flower (craft store) | Mini tree (Target)
So now that you have seen all 3 collections, which is your favorite? I love the pink and peach combo, but I think the red and green cactus collection is my favorite. I mean, those hot glue gift toppers are just so much fun!

[…] A hot glue gun is also super useful for wrapping gifts. Not only that you can use it to make sure the box stays nice and flat but also to adhere decorations onto it and even to make cute custom tags. For example, check out this adorable cactus tag made out of glue. You can find out all about it on akailochiclife. […]
