Bake It – A Googly Eye S’mores Pie

Let the Halloween baking commence! Trying to think of new Halloween treats that haven’t been made yet is as difficult as trying to come up with unique pumpkin DIY’s. But, thanks to a few marshmallows and a black food coloring pen, this creepy cute googly eye s’mores pie was not only a snap to make, it tastes amazing too! And how perfect would this be for a colorful Halloween party?!

Googly Eye S’mores Pie

  • 14 ounces milk chocolate chunks
  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 9″ prepared graham cracker crust
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • Black food coloring pen
Begin by heating the chocolate, cream, and Nutella in a bowl over a pot of simmering water. Mix with a spatula until well combined, then pour into the prepared pie crust.
Next, use the food coloring pen to add eyeballs to each mini marshmallow and then place them around the pie.

Once your pie is filled, it is ready to serve. If you like you can quickly broil the top of the pie in the oven to get the marshmallows slightly toasted, but I thought the pie looked creepier sans browning.
Serve with a scoop of ice cream atop a few colorful plates or these cute black and white ones from Meri Meri and let your Halloween festivities commence!
Who knew googly eyes could look so tasty?!

    It's a great and spooky idea. 🙂
I don't know if I can find this kind of mini marshmallows in France, but I will try.
