Yes, these splatter painted chocolate bars are completely edible and made with just chocolate! But aren’t they just the spookiest and perfect for Halloween? They are so easy to make and can be completely customized. Think red splatters to represent blood on white chocolate for a totally creepy candy, or rainbow splatters for a more fun playful look that would be fun any day of the year.
- Chocolate bar mold
- Black or chocolate candy melts
- Pink candy melts
- Bowl, microwave, and spoon
To make the bars, first melt your black chocolate until just melted, then use your spoon to splatter the chocolate across the mold (warning, this part is messy!). Once the splatter chocolate is cool, melt your pink (or white) candy melts and pour them in the mold to the top. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until firm then un-mold. You can package them in clear cello bags for gifting.
So easy and so on theme!
Now that you see how easy it is to make your own chocolate bars, what colors will you choose for yours? I must admit I have been having so much fun making Halloween themed candy this year. I usually bake cookies and other treats, but this year I focused on making candy and it was such a fun to experiment with all of the recipes!
