Make It – A Reindeer Felt Ball Garland

filed under

OMG you guys! I am so excited about today’s project! It is just the cutest little reindeer felt ball garland ever! And it is pretty simple to make and looks so sweet hung up over a hot cocoa bar, along your mantel, or even draped around your tree. I love a traditional colorful felt ball garland, but I wanted to up the cute factor for my kids holiday party. This reindeer felt ball garland did the trick and was so simple to put together!

See how adorable it is?! Ahhh!!!

Materials:

Begin by cutting out antlers for all your little reindeer from the brown felt. If you have a Cricut maker, you can use it to cut out all the antlers for you. Otherwise, just free hand it like I did!

Once you have your antlers, glue them onto the top of the felt ball and then glue on the red pom pom nose.

The last step is to use the needle and twine to attach the balls to each other by using the needle through the top 1/4″ of the felt ball behind the antlers. Once you have sewn through all your felt balls, tie off the ends of the twine and hang it up!

Really so simple! And while it looks just adorable here on this little dessert bar, I bet it would look just as amazing on your mantel or wrapped around a little kids Christmas tree. And hey, if you love it, but just don’t want to make it or don’t think you can, you can purchase one pre-made here in my shop!
