Who’s ready for Valentine’s Day? While I definitely don’t go all out for Valentine’s Day decorating like I do Halloween and Christmas, I do like the infusion of more pink into my home. So small little touches of hearts and pink is how I decorate. These cute little DIY felt heart drink stirrers are the perfect Valentine’s Day craft because not only are they cute and festive, but they are as easy as gluing two things together. And they can be used all year long! Plus they look super festive on my bar cart along with my confetti cocktail shaker and DIY blendo glasses which I have a small tutorial for below. So grab your glue gun and spray paint and lets get your craft on! (Or…if you just don’t have the time to craft right now…check out the felt heart items you can purchase premade from our shop!)
–Acrylic Drink Stir Sticks
Here is the really tricky part. Glue the heart onto the acrylic drink stirrer. Got it? Yep, that is all you have to do! Once the glue is dry, the stirrers are ready to adorn your bar cart (along with one of our confetti cocktail shakers) or cocktail/mocktail.
They look super festive in DIY blendo glasses (just tape off the top edge and spray paint the bottom of glasses letting the over spray blend up towards the top). I use Montana gold spray paint because of its satin finish and all the colors it’s available in. Once the paint is dry, remove the tape for your very own blendo glasses.
Now that you have seen how easy these DIY felt heart drink stirrers are to make, you can try glueing extra hearts onto magnet pieces for pretty little Valentine’s Day spruce up for your fridge or desk. Or try gluing them onto tooth picks for a cute little cupcake pick! The possibilities are endless. What other ideas do you have for these cutie little hearts? Tell me your ideas, as I have quite a few extra that I need to craft with!
