Are you ready for the last rainbow craft of the week? For this one I am taking the term rainbow a little more literally and made adorable yarn wrapped DIY rainbow wall hooks. This rainbow shaped wall hanging is perfect for keys or jewelry, but I am planning on hanging this in my daughters room for all her hair bows, headbands, and accessories. My favorite part? Those little felt ball clouds!
Materials for DIY Rainbow Wall Hooks:
–Yarn in a rainbow of colors
–Rope
-Cardboard
–Hot Glue
-2cm and 3 cm white felt balls (6 total)
–Gold screw hooks
–Wall mounting strips
Begin by measuring out the size of the rainbow that you want to make and cut your rope to size to create the arches. Then being by wrapping the rope with the first color of yarn and then twist the rope to fully cover the yarn and hot glue the ends in place.
Proceed with all the other colors of your rainbow. Once finished, hot glue the yarn ropes to a piece of cardboard and cut out the cardboard so that none can be seen from the front of the rainbow.
Next, screw the hooks into the felt balls and use a dab of hot glue to secure them. Then hot glue them onto the bottom of the rainbow.
Once the rainbow is complete, use the wall mounting strips to adhere the hooks to the wall. Then add your keys, jewelry, or other accessories.
I am pretty sure every girl both young and old would love this rainbow in their room. I love this project, because not only is it cute, but you can easily scale the rainbow and size of the rope to create a much larger rainbow wall haning too. Just imagine this as giant DIY rainbow wall hooks above a dresser or vainty. Too cute!

So cute! I might have to try this using bungee cords that already have hooks on each end that could be painted any color.
