Hey everyone! I have been a little MIA recently completing one of the biggest projects I have ever taken on. If haven’t heard me talk about it yet, it is The FOMO Factory. An immersive art pop up museum of sorts here in Austin. Similar to the Museum of Ice Cream or Color Factory, the Fomo Factory has 8 rooms all with different themes based around childhood. Since many of you aren’t in Austin, I thought it would be fun to share a little sneak peek into each of the rooms in the space. Starting with the first room you see, the birthday room! Everyone remembers their birthdays from when they were young, so it’s no surprise that we had to include a giant birthday party complete with a pinata fringe wall, a wall of faux cupcakes, a giant cake that you can pop out of, a wall full of wrapped gifts, and of course a ton of balloons!
Here are a few pictures I took of the space so you can see it all including the rainbow stairs and sprinkle walls that lead you up to the birthday room. And if you are in Austin, or can drive to be here, you can buy tickets to see it yourself at thefomofactory.com.
Now who else is ready to celebrate a fake birthday or two in here?! Tell me which space you would love to take a photo in. Mine is definitely that fringe wall. In fact, I did just that this past weekend with my SIL Melanie Wright Photography. Just look how fun!
Stay tuned tomorrow as I cover the toy room, back to school room, and bubble bath room!
