Halloween is less than a week away and I am so ready for it! I have a few last minute projects that I am working on, but all in all, my house is pretty well decorated. I even had time to make DIY gradient boo pumpkins and halloween gallery wall for my office! You all know I love a good gradient color way, so I spray painted a few half pumpkins to hang on my wall with my favorite gradient color palettes. Just look how cute they turned out!
So cute right?!
Materials to make DIY gradient pumpkins and gallery wall:
- Half pumpkins from the craft store
- Spray paint in at least three coordinating shades
- Gold paint pen to add the BOO
- other Halloween decorations and printbles (see below)
Begin by taking your pumpkins outside and spray painting bands of color onto each pumpkin letting the colored paint overlap on the previous color slightly to get the perfect gradient blend.
Once the paint has dried, bring the pumpkins inside and use a gold paint pen or gold acrylic paint to add the letters BOO. This step is completely optional as these pumpkins look mighty fine with just the gradient spray.
Once the gold paint has dried, hang up your pumpkins. Then add in a rainbow spider web wreath, paper bats, an 80’s painted crecent moon, and any other halloween artwork you have. I added in a letter board that I added my favorite Hocus Pocus quote too and a black and white moon print that I picked up at JO-ANN.
Tomorrow I will share how to make those adorable honeycomb bats! And I also have a few Halloween printables that I designed that I hope to share too! So many projects and so little time! I hope you love this colorful take on Halloween decorations. Maybe you too will make DIY gradient boo pumpkins and Halloween gallery wall that is just your style!
