I told you a few weeks ago that I was all about the paper mache cones this year for my Christmas crafting. These DIY modern tiered ombre Christmas trees are the last of the three ways that I used them this year. First, I made the glittery striped cone trees, then the ruffled tulle trees. But these ombre ones might just be my favorite because of their modern look and gold details.
Plus, they are super simple to make and can be displayed stacked or unstacked for two completely different looks. The gold edge really adds a unique and modern look. You’d never believe they were basic paper mache!
Materials to make your own DIY Modern Tiered Ombre Christmas Trees:
Simple paint the cones in your colors of acrylic craft paint. Then when dry, add a gold band around the bottom with the paint pen.
Once the paint is dry, the cones are ready to stack and be used to decorate your home for the holidays.
So simple, am I right?! What colors would you paint your trees? Shades of gray? Or all the colors for a rainbow version?
