If you follow me on Instagram, you may remeber back in the spring when I made a fun roving wall hanging for spring complete with faux eggs and mini felt carrots and flowers. Well I wanted to adapt that craft for Halloween and I found the perfect base. Two skeleton hand salad tongs at Michaels! After finding those hands, this DIY Halloween roving wall hanging was well on its way to becoming spooktacular!
Supplies to make your own DIY Halloween Roving Wall Hanging:
- Roving and yarn in your favorite Halloween colors
- Skeleton hands
- Paper bats (optional)
- Scissors
- Tape
Begin by taping the hands together at the ends to form one long piece.
Now comes the fun part. Just tie on pieces of roving, braided yarn, and large tassels to the bone arms. Trim all the yarn at the botom, then hang on your wall.
For an added Halloween touch, tape or hot glue on some paper bats in the corner flying out and away onto the wall.
If bats aren’t your thing, you could always use sparkly spiders too! Let the spooky cute Halloween decorating commence!

I usually buy it off Etsy. There are a ton of sellers that sell all the pretty colors. Just search roving on there.
