I dabbed on alcohol inks with a makeup sponge and blended the colors out. Once they’re dry, just seal with Mod-Podge or a spray of clear gloss paint to keep them lasting year after year. Head here for the full tutorial video.

Supplies:

• Clear acrylic ornaments
• Alcohol inks and sponges
• Clear sealer

Instructions:

Step 1: Apply the alcohol ink to your sponge and dab onto the ornament one color at a time. Blend the colors together carefully. Use your imagination to come up with your favorite color combinations—you can even put multiple colors together on the same sponge to make custom colors!

Step 2: Let the ornaments dry, then apply a spray-on clear sealer or Mod-Podge to protect them.
