Let’s combine two of my favorite things—rainbows and disco tiles! I’m sharing a DIY disco rainbow that I created to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a wooden rainbow I got from Woodpeckers Crafts. Of course, rainbows aren’t limited to this holiday—keep your disco rainbow sparkling year round. It reflects light in each of its colors, making for a gorgeous showpiece in your home. Here’s the full DIY video!
You will need a wood rainbow set, some stick-on disco tiles, and my favorite Ranger brand alcohol inks in rainbow colors. I was able to get two full rainbows out of a single wood set, so you can make one for yourself and one for a friend. Or better yet, invite them over and have a crafting night!
Supplies:
Instructions:
Step 1: Separate your wooden rainbow set into two rainbows. Stick on the disco tiles to your rainbow pieces, making sure to cover all sides.
Step 2: Using your sponge, apply the alcohol ink in rainbow colors to each rainbow piece. Let dry for an hour.
You’re done! Now you have a dazzling piece of decor to add a little joy to your home all year long.
