Is there anything cuter than a Halloween ghost? Maybe this chunky pink yarn version that you can hang right on your wall! I love the slightly boho vibe this ghostie brings—and how it fits in with so many styles of decor. You can go with a classic white, choose your favorite color of yarn, or just use up whatever scraps you have lying around. I’d love to see a rainbow or ombre version of this DIY yarn ghost craft! See the full DIY video here.
To get the look, pick up a set of giant wall confetti from my shop!
Supplies:
- Chunky yarn in your color of choice
- Cardboard
- Black felt
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
Step 1: Cut an arch shape out of scrap cardboard to the desired size of your ghost. Cut segments of the chunky yarn.
Step 2: Beginning on the outside edge, hot glue your pieces of yarn to the cardboard. Once you get to the center, trim the ends to make a ghost body shape.
Step 3: Cut out and glue on the black felt eyes and mouth.
I hung mine at a slight angle, then filled the background with colorful Halloween-themed confetti. Now I’m ready for October!
