This DIY doesn’t really need much in the way of ‘instruction’, but more or less gives you the idea to grab a few of your favorite colors and turn something old into something awesome. But, if you’re still curious about my technique, follow along below for the full details.
- Plain colored fabric shoes (espadrilles, wedges, or flats will all work)
- Multi Surface Craft Paint
- Painter’s tape and a stiff paint brush
I went with a few staple colors from my wardrobe (navy, mint, and teal) and threw in light peach color for a little variation.
Once the paint was dry, I removed the tape and donned my “new” shoes. I love how a little bit of work transformed these shoes and made them perfect for summer.
What do you think? So much better than the original ones right? I hope you feel inspired to try out a shoe makeover of your own. When you do, be sure to share them with me on social media by tagging them #mykailochic. I can’t wait to see what you do!
