Did you all know that I cut and sell home decor craft kits in my shop? These are laser cut pieces that I cut with my Glowforge and sell for you to customize with paint and the yarn of your choice. Today I wanted to share another way that the rainbow wall hanging kit can be used with this DIY gold and rainbow mirror.
I paired the rainbow wall hanging wood cut piece with a half circle of gold acrylic that I cut with my laser. Not only is it cute for year round decor, but I thought it especially fun decor for St. Patrick’s day. Like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
Materials to make your own DIY Gold and Rainbow Wall Mirror:
- Gold acrylic in half circle shape
- Laser cut rainbow piece in large (I used the MDF)
- Acrylic craft paint
- Paint brushes
- Quick grab glue from beacon
- Adhesive wall mounting strips or leather for hanging strip
Simply paint the wood rainbow your choice of colors, then glue onto the gold acrylic. I mean it really is that simple! I used quick grab glue for an instant bond. Then cut a piece of leather and punched a hole in both sides to hang the rainbow mirror.
I styled it above my bar cart in my kitchen along with my new favorite Fenitmans botanically brewed beverages. They are like fancy fruity sodas!
When paired with my emerald curtains, my eat in kitchen looks like it is now decked out for St. Patrick’s Day!
