Since having baby number two, I don’t have much time to do anything crafty aside from general business sewing but the other day I was able to make this quick piece of artwork.

I used fabric covered piece of canvas that I have had up on the wall for a couple years just waiting to be turned into art, and finally made something beautiful. To make the art I just used masking tape and taped out a free form pattern (a take off a chevron print), then spray painted the real fabric with gold metallic spray paint.

Once dry I removed the tape and hung the panel back on the wall. It took all of maybe 30 minutes start to finish, and I love the look. Now I can not wait to make something similar for my bathroom.
