I realize that it is only the beginning of September, but seeing all the Halloween decor at Michaels and Joann Fabrics has me itching to start decorating. On a quick trip to Michaels to pick up some more craft pumpkins yesterday, I ended up getting a few more Halloween items that were on sale. It is just too hard to pass up on some things. One of the things that I got was a trick or treat sign. Well, that spurred on the beginning of the built-in transformation into Halloween central. Here is a sneak peak at the beginning of this transformation. I will keep you all update as I add more!

I grouped my black and orange books together with my glass head (because she is spooky and fits the theme). A little pumpkin box from last years Target Dollar Spot fit my faux plant perfectly, and the little Halloween creatures are from a craft that my kids did. I like the looks of thing already. I can’t wait to officially pull out the other decorations from the attic and get to work on the other shelves. Stay tuned. Its about to get all Halloweeny up in here!
