Who knew marble tile was so versa”tile”? Ha! I have made both colorful mini spring succulent planters and marble and copper taper candle holders using the 2″ hexagon tiles and today I want to share a super easy way to turn them into monogrammed place card napkin rings.
Don’t you just love them?! Marble and gold is such a classic combo that will go with pretty much any table setting or party theme. And, they are as easy to make as using a glue gun and stickers. Lets get started, shall we?
- Marble hexagon tile
- Gold faux leather trim cut into 6″ long pieces (I get mine at Joann Fabric and Craft Stores)
- Alphabet Stickers – Gold
- Gold Leaf Paint Pen
- Glue gun
Begin by removing the tile from the mesh backing, then painting the edge of the tiles. Once the paint has dried, hot glue the tile to the middle of the leather strapping and hot glue the strapping into a ring.
The final step is to add the letters for your guests initials. Now, you can totally leave this step off and the napkin rings will be just as cute.
