See how completely different the room looks by just switching out a few things?! It helps that the bed, side tables, and wall are all white, so there is a nice neutral background that makes changing the look quick and easy, plus it really makes the colors pop!
First up is the pink and yellow bedroom.
For this bedroom I of course used my DIY geometric headboard for the wall, and then paired it with this Oh Joy pillow and these spotted pillows to tie in to the colors in the headboard. On the side tables I added my DIY neon pink terrarium and my DIY YAY vase on one side and a mint colored lamp, a few books in the same colors as the headboard, and a faux paper cactus.
On the end of the bed is my chartreuse green throw that I found at Home Goods. Now, lets move on to the blue and orange styled bedroom.
In this room, the throw, lamp, and books remained, but I swapped out the colorful geometric headboard for these two geometric art pieces I made and I swapped out the neon pink terrarium for my orange version. As you can see I changed the colors up a bit in the art work to pull in the orange from the throw pillows.
On the bed I added these two Oh Joy pillows plus a solid navy with gold trim pillow I bought at Target a few years ago.
On the right of the bed I added a blue vase with orange flowers, a bowl of succulents using a bowl from the Oh Joy collection that matched the pillows, and added in a few pieces of art. One that I painted and one that I found on clearance at the craft store.
As you can see, I didn’t change up much, but the difference is substantial. Now my only question to you is which bedroom do you like better?
I think the pink and yellow is my favorite! On second thought it definitely is my favorite!
I liked the colourful geometric shapes….. but both of them were nice!
