I think it is safe to say that I have a mild obsession with Target. After what was supposed to be a quick trip there (isn’t that always the case?!), I came out of the store with all the makings of the best geometric floral summer party. With a few DIY’s and a little styling, the ultimate summer party came together and I can’t wait to share all the details with you.

For the party, I went with low Ikea lack tables in white so that I could use the new Oh Joy! for Target floor pillows. Then I layered the table top with these pretty colored soy candles, two large bowls filled with large faux flowers, and napkins, plates, glasses, and bowls all from Target.

Above the table I hung colorful geometric lanterns with battery operated candles and filled them with more faux flowers. I love having decorations hanging from the ceiling when I can. It helps fill the whole room with decorations and draws the eye up and around the space.

Of course no party is complete without a beverage station! I used one of my white Ikea square Kallax units as my bar cart/beverage serving station. A few art prints I found on clearance at the craft store, a bowl of oranges, a pineapple, bottles of water, dishes of candy and of course more flowers in my vintage brass pineapple.
