Apparently the unicorn party fest that was Snap conference subconsciously wore off on me, because I just created two new unicorn themed desserts that are every bit as magical as you can hope for in a unicorn themed dessert. First up is this rainbow unicorn horn donut tower in partnership with Flora Craft® Make It:Fun®! A tower of donut holes dipped in colorful chocolate, sprinkled with golden star sprinkles, and a few flowers because, why not?! Believe it or not, this is the first time I have attempted a dessert tower and while I was a little apprehensive of how it would go down, it turned out to be just as easy as I had hoped!

 

 

The Supplies:

• 12″ Flora Craft® Make It: Fun® Foam Cone
•  Plastic Wrap
• 5 dozen donut holes
• Colored Coating Chocolate melts
• Tooth picks
• Star Sprinkles

 First you will want to wrap your cone with plastic wrap. 

 

 

Then you will melt the chocolate one color at a time and dip the donut holes into the chocolate and then add the star sprinkles. You will need 9 donuts of each color for the bottom three rings, then 7 of each color for the next two, and 12 for the top two rings. 

 

 

Once the chocolate has set. Use the tooth picks to stick the donut holes onto the cone. Begin at the bottom and work your way up to the top. Once complete add a few faux or fresh flowers and serve up your rainbow unicorn creation!

 

 

Now that is one pretty and tasty donut tower!
