Well, last week I promised another way to makeover the cute metal stand planter that I found at JOANN, but then life got the better of me and I didn’t get around to photographing it! But I am here now and ready to share a second and super easy way to give the white stand planter a little paint upgrade. Read on to find out how I created this DIY Colorful Modern Stand Planter!
Isn’t it pretty? Gold and coral are such a perfec combo! Plus, look at my new prayer plant. It’s the perfect addition to my home for Earth day!
Materials:
- Metal stand planter (this one is from JOANN stores)
- Coral and gold spray paint ( I used Krylon Metallic Gold and Rustoleum Coral Gloss)
Yep, just those three things are all you need to give the plain white planter a sophisticated glam makeover. Just spray paint the bowl part of the planter (it is just sitting in the stand nook and not attached, so it is easy to remove) with the color of your choice and spray paint the stand gold. So easy!
I think it would also be fun to do a colorblocked look and choose two coordinating colors like hot pink and chartreuse green to give it a funky 80’s vibe. Maybe I should go grab another one….
But I digress. Again, I never seise to be amazed by the power of paint! It can transform everything so easily!
Now tell me, which is more your style. This gold and coral DIY Colorful Modern Stand Planter, or the yarn wrapped version I made last week? Modern or vintage?
