DIY Skull Halloween Wall Decorations

filed under

I had more fun than I should making these boo and ghoul skulls. These colorful DIY skull Halloween wall decorations are perfect for a cute Halloween party bathroom sign or to decorate your kids door for the holiday. You can choose from a bat bow tie or a bat hair bow to make the skull perfect for your son or daughter. What colorful Halloween fun! If you are using the skeleton heads for bathroom marking signs, be sure to cut out some vinyl to adhere to the door to add to the Halloween pun fun.

Materials needed to make your own DIY skull Halloween wall decorations:

Begin these easy DIY Halloween decorations by painting your bats. These will act as the bows for the skeleton (either a bow tie or a hair bow). Once painted, move on to painting your skeleton any color you like.

I went with bright neon colors, because I love a good neon Halloween. But feel free to go traditional with white skulls and black bats too! This is where your own personal style can come out to play.

Once the paint is dry, use the hot glue gun to attach the bat bows to each skull. Then hang these DIY skull Halloween wall decorations up on the wall or door to decorate your space for the holiday. I think these would make such a cute way to decorate classroom bathrooms for school. Or if you are having a Halloween party, just designate one bathroom for each skull so that you have an excuse to use their cute punny names.

But if neither of those work for you, you can always just hang the skulls above your mantel with a few pumpkins for a colorful spin on this spooky holiday.
