The post DIY Witch Themed Halloween Party, is sponsored by JOANN. All ideas opinions and crafts are my own! Thank you for supporting the brands that help keep the crafts coming!
Hey there witchy woman! This year I have been a little obsessed with witches for Halloween. Not your typical witch themed Halloween, but more of a colorful, pun-filled, mystical take on witches. I always love having friends over to craft, so this Halloween I decided to have a DIY witch themed Halloween party complete with pumpkin decorating and witchy decorations. I partnered with JOANN to make all my witchy craft party dreams come true and did they ever deliver!
Can you even?! Now first things first, you probably see that this isn’t your typical Halloween color palette, but I love the purple, teal, and black vibe happening here. It feels very magical and perfect for a witch themed party if you ask me.
Decor from JOANN
JOANN not only has tons of witch themed art (like this one, this one, and this one in store that make the perfect party backdrop, but they also have these gorgeous black candle holders, teal succulent pumpkins, and faux flowers that make the perfect decor for this witchy Halloween party.
DIY Projects
Once I had the decor from JOANN set up, I added in a few DIY projects that I made to really set the witchy vibe. Like these DIY witch self help books that I made with these paper mache book boxes and DIY colorful spider web covered pumpkins that made with colorful roving.
I also used my Cricut Maker to cut black cardstock bats for the wall and black adhesive vinyl spider webs for the credenza doors.
Balloons
And of course the final piece, the balloon garland with mylar star balloons that took the party to the next level!
Table
For the table, I added a black and white stripe fabric runner, the teal succulent pumpkins, more faux flowers along with pink and black halloween plates, and test tubes to hold the cocktails.
Party Planning
Once I had the DIY witch themed halloween party set up, it was time to plan my guest list, menu, and everything in between. I used my new Miss Hostess Happy Planner and it’s inserts to plan out every thing.
As you can see, the inserts have budget sheets to help you plan out the food and drink costs for your party and the decoration costs as well. So helpful for those of us that like to host fun get togethers often!
Now that you have seen how easy it is to get your witch party on with JOANN, go grab your ghoulfriends and throw one of your own. You know you want to!
